General Notes 1. Please be on time ! 2. Only 5 innings per night per pitcher ! (slow pitch only - fast pitch unlimited) 3. Record who pitches for your opponent each inning ! 4. Starting pitcher MUST pitch ALL of 2 first innings ! 5. Pitcher of record is a) pitcher who retires 2 batters OR b) records 3rd out of the inning 6. Schedule your own make-ups, just let Jerry know so I can get the batter's box / bases out 7. ALL regular slow pitch schedule games MUST be made up before Fast Pitch nights or they are FORFEITS. 8. Modified bats allowed on fast pitch nights (tape, stuff...whatever) must be Wiffle bats, however !

======================================================================================= Fast Pitch Rules 1. All rules the same as slow pitch unless otherwise noted below; 2. Games will be 4 innings, rather than 5 (they take longer due to errant pitches). 3. Pitchers mound will be located 36' from home plate. 4. The strike zone will be 30" tall by 22" wide, 12" off the ground, at 3 feet behind home plate. 5. Any pitch which hits the foam strike zone before hitting the ground is a strike. 6. The supports uprights for the stike zone ARE NOT a strike. 7. Pitch speed will be < 40 mph and batters may request pitches be slowed down. 8. 6 balls to a batter will result in a walk, but only a single, not a double as in slow pitch. 9. Normal strike out rules apply (3 strikes = out). 10. Fouled 3rd strikes which hit the foam strike zone results in a strike out on the batter. 11. Batters may not line up in or move in front of strike zone. Doing so = automatic strike. 12. Batters may not move body parts into pitches on purpose. Doing so = automatic strike. 13. No inning limit will be imposed upon pitchers - 1 pitcher can do all the pitching for ALL games. 14. Only regular Wiffle balls will be used. No solid balls (sorry ladies and youngsters). 15. Bats may be altered to improve your chances with the following guidelines; - Official Goldstick bats MUST BE used - They can be stuffed, filled, tape applied to barrel, whatever you like
